Williams Lake is a beautiful natural lake nestled in the Salmon Mountains, just 15 miles from town. It is the largest lake in the Salmon area. Statistics: 180 acres, 3.5 miles of shoreline, 185 ft deep. The lake is ideal for water skiing and fishing. There are only 50 homes on the lake. All homes enjoy unlimited, pure spring water from a new water system. Lake front homes are on a sewer system that insures the future water quality. These amenities are unusual for lakeside property in Idaho. The lake has fresh water shrimp and offers great rainbow trout fishing all year round. From 1941 to 1983 the Idaho Department of Fish and Game stocked the lake with rainbow trout, and now the lake has a self-sustaining population. Today, the productive waters of Williams Lake yield rainbow trout of up to three pounds. This year-round fishery, with its easy access, is a great area for the novice and experienced angler alike.
